Zandu Hingvadi Churna

Hingvadi Vati is a herbal tablet formulation, wherein hingu is refered to asafoetida, is the main ingredient. Also available in churna form.

Its usage:

1. It is used to treat Vata in Gastro intestinal system.
2. It is useful in gas problem, distention and abdominal pain.

Dosage:

1/4-1/2tsf with buttermilk or warm water once or twice or as directed by the physician.

1 – 2 tablets at night, before or after food with water or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.

High dose may worsen gastritis.

Hingvadi Gulika ingredients:

Hingu – Ferula asa foetida

Amlavetasa – Garcinia indica

Vyosha – Pepper, long pepper and ginger

Trilavana – Three types of salts.
