• Medicated ghees are ghruthas, that are the combination of ghee (Prepared from milk) and the medicinal ingredients used. Ghee have a speacial quality to imbibe the properties of ingredients without loosing its medicinal value. The medicinal ingredients are added in the form of kwathas, kalkas or the juices of the medicinal plants. Ghees are mixed with these ingredients as per the requisition and processed at at stipulated temperature. Generally the ghees are supposed to be used internally. The process is carried out under the guidance and supervision of a technical person to ensure consistant quality of the product. The quaility control section ensure the purity of ghee used before the preperation of ghruthas. These are packed in bottles. The final product generally get solidified on colling and has the colour, odour and taste of ingredients used in the preperation.
